LCA Agrivoltaic power plants for impact studies
Terapolis
As part of large-scale agrivoltaic projects, Terapolis needed to assess the climate impact of its installations in order to incorporate it into its environmental impact studies.
The deadline for submitting the files required a balance between efficiency and the production of clear and robust deliverables.

Our mission
Kapstan assisted Terapolis in conducting three LCAs of agrivoltaic power plants, carried out in parallel in order to effectively inform environmental impact studies.
The mission consisted in particular of:
- Define appropriate and sufficiently focused input data to avoid back-and-forth exchanges;
- Produce initial interim results that can be quickly integrated into impact assessment reports;
- Deliver clear and informative final reports.
This approach aimed to secure the project submission schedule while ensuring the methodological robustness of the analyses.
We had considered using an internal tool to perform the LCAs, but it proved too cumbersome and a source of uncertainty. Kapstan's expertise enabled us to overcome these limitations and produce reliable analyses that could be used directly in our environmental impact studies.
